Homesha

Homesha is a major planet in the Deus Solaris System. It is approximated to be 9.89 billion years old and is 79% water.

Climate

Temperature Range

The temperature range on Homesha is 6°C to 18°C.

Extreme Weather

Homesha has several different forms of unique weather phenomena, such as gravity storms, Hydrobreezes, and lava precipitation.

Gravity Storms

These are intense atmospheric disturbances characterized by fluctuating gravitational fields. They are caused by the interaction of Homesha's magnetic field with solar winds. During a gravity storm, gravity decreases, subjecting objects to weightlessness or a sudden increase in weight, leading to dangerous and chaotic conditions. Gravity storms are revered by many on Homesha, but they are also viewed as curses by others.

Hydrobreezes

Hydrobreezesare atmospheric currents that pick up large amounts of ocean water. The water is carried high into the atmosphere, above cloud levels, where it is transported over great distances. Eventually, the wind drops the water as precipitation. This creates sudden and intense downpours replenishing inland water sources and contributing to the planet's water cycle. They also used to terrorize towns and cities, as they would flood the city or damage the buildings. This was until Nimran merchants introduced them to Aegis Fields. However, towns without them are still subject to extreme damage and floods.

Lava Precipitation

Lava precipitation occurs when heavy winds carry lava from active volcanoes above cloud level in the atmosphere transporting them across great distances, eventually dropping them as precipitation. This terrorized many villages and towns without Aegis Fields.

Flora and Fauna

Homesha has fairly diverse flora and fauna. However, many oceanic creatures are yet to be discovered.

Fauna

Kermils

Kermiles are amphibious fish. They spend most of their lives in the water but dig burrows on land which they fill a part of with water. Kremlins have five fins, one is on top of their head, two at the bottom, and the other two in the middle of their bodies. The fins also function as legs, which allow them to walk on land and dig their burrows.

Flora

Moskils

Msokils are oceanic plants that relies on fish to live. Moskils attract many insects which eat it, so Moskils have to rely on fish to eat the insects to stay clean and alive.
