The Creation of the first mortals, the Tritions

However mortals had not been made in any forum, yet until Hurn formed the Tritons to wander the waves. But in there first form they had no minds of their own, and so Hurn went to Cyanti and ask for a boon, to give the Tritions minds. Cyanti said that to do such a thing Hurn would have to make great river that flowed from the silver cradle of the faewild to the alter of the first death in the shadowfell. Using the blood of Edgar and the tears that Nuloff shed for his slain lord, and her mastery over water, Hurn made the Sea of Souls. As the sea flowed under the mortal world where the mindless Tritons did dwell, Cyanti with Edgar, did fuse the first lesser souls of mortals that they had made as Hurn made the Sea of Souls, with the Tritons giving them minds of their own. The Tritons where the first to live as mortals in between god and animal.
