Once Angels, the Aasimar are descended from Angels freed from service and immortality by choice, rebelling or by the death of their god. The majorly of angels where freed by the death of their gods during the The War in Heaven, losing both immortality. However the oldest lines of Aasimar trace where born by the death of Edgar, some of which continued to server them, as willing annotated protectors of there grave. Aasimar today are mostly thought as angels in flesh which is a reputation not all of them embrace. Aasimar blood can stay dormant in families only to reappear long after it is forgotten. In some cases the blood of the Aasimar only is revilde in adulthood.
