Jorkin is a skilled horse breeder and acquaintence of Korand Tindolen's in-laws. He married Iola Vandivel the First soon after meeting her, and they had three children.
Their oldest, Kailin Kris'nat, was assassinated as a teenager. The youngest, Kaila Kris'nat-Vandivel, became a horse breeder, and Isidra Vandivel the Second, their middle child, became Queen of Alfeari.
