The Previous High Preistess can grant this role when stepping down, however in the case of sudden unexpected death, or the previous of the role unable to bestow this, the most senior availible Preistess can complete this ritual.   The new High Preistess must dress in all white light robes, and receive the pearl crown upon her head from either the previous High Preistess or most senior Preistess.   The new High Prestess when not chosen by the Previous is voted in by the current Prestesses of the temple, however the decision is almost always unanimus on who is most fit for the role.

Putting the Nations needs before anyone or her own needs. She must show how selfless she is and put the lowest of the nation in her mind to help.   Due to the lack of strong ties other than that between the High Preistess, Sheila, and her Nation, any lovers are discouraged, but male lovers are strictly forbidden. The High Preistess is prohibited from having children that are alive while in office, however she can step down at any moment if the pressure is too high for her.

If the High Priestess is unable to perform her duties for whatever reason, the High Priestess may step down from the role, from which a new appointed High Priestess shall arrive.   If the High Priestess is sending her country towards ruin, the priestesses can forcibly remove her from office, however this is unprecedented and has never happened before. In the case that this happens, the Priestesses can declare the High Priestess unfit to perform her duties and quickly elect a new High Priestess to be appointed to the role. From there, guards or similar will forcibly remove her from her chambers, and possibly put the Former High Priestess on Trial, or exile on the edge of the country for several years until everything cools down and she can chose to return to the capitol if she so desires.
