Fae Wilds
The Fae Wilds are a mystical place. There's many names for the being that live there, with a collective agreement on the Word Fae to describe all of them. From Treants to Pixies to Changelings, all originate, and most stay in thefae wilds. Few can enter for long and not leave cursed, if they come back at all.
But, the Fae Wildes are beautiful. For those lucky enough to enter deep where the magic fills one with a tingle, there are many beautiful things one can see. A lake with a surface shimmering like gems, with bubbles that seem to never pop, floating endlessly above it. Trees thicker than castle turrets, with soft moss growing in between, and vines from far above. Flowers with bioluminescence and bark that can cure fever.
With the right guide, your trip to the Fey wilds can be a pleasant one.
Ecosystem
Primarily thick old growth forest, mostly of trees only seen within the Fey Wildes themselves, and thick layers of moss.
Ecosystem Cycles
The Fae Wildes are in a magically induced, purpetual Summer, with about the same tempuratures and weather year round. Due to this, a common saying among those who live there is, "When Crystal Lake Freezes Over" It has the same meaning of the Earth saying, "When Pigs Fly." It's never going to happen.
Localized Phenomena
Warm Rain While it rarely Rains in Faewia, on the occasion it does, the rain merely ticks your face, not changing the temperature at all.
Constant humidity The Fae Wildes rarely need rain due to the constant strong humidity. Despite this however, few in there feel overly hot or cold, like they could stay there forever.
Magical Residue Due to the strong concentrated Magic, it is theorized that those who don't leave the Fae Wildes, are slowly transformed into the Fae seen in the woods. The magic slowly changing their body to fit the rest of the area, growing wings, experiencing near immortality, or having longer appendages. All sorts can happen in the Fae Wildes, as is the unpredictability of it all.
Tourism
Almost all who Enter the Fae Wildes in current times, are either Desperate, or reckless. The Fae Wildes hold important medicines, and many are lost in the search of it. In addition, some Researchers enter, knowing the dangers and going anyways in the name of science. None of these have ever returned. At least until Olive, but He seemed to be the exception to all the rules, Huh?
