Dianmallo Transportation Options

Dianmallo is a massive city, spanning 20 miles in width and nearly 15 miles in length. How the average citizen is supposed to traverse from one side of the city to another is ultimately their problem, but as it is everyone's problem, some means of expediting the process have been cleverly developed.

Walk

Cost: nothing but the wear and tear on your shoes
Speed: 2-4mph (depending on pace, see PHB)

Horse carriage

Cost: 2cp per mile per person (6 max)
Speed: 1-5mph, depending on traffic in each district. Mostly averages 4mph.

Canal Boats

Cost: 5sp, regardless of distance. Must remain within city limits.
Speed: 3mph over water. Mostly consistent pace.

Shalem's Shaggy Taxi Service

Cost: 50-200gp per day, varies on size
Speed: 3-8mph, varies on size and weight

Note all rentals are based on availability of sky permits and available stock of carpets.
