The Isithic mountain range
On the south side of the uccuguczurdoyoydtaof nation lies this small mountain range called Isithic. While the valley below is known for its cool steady temperatures, these mountains are not so kind high wind and burning rain make it near inhabitable by normal humans, yet they do. The village of Monteanew is one of many villages that constantly get wreaked by the mountain’s unpredictable nature, so much so that many of its inhabitants have moved away. Some however still choose to fight the weather, a nomadic like group called the Isithic nomads, have taken to no longer building permanent structures, instead working with their surroundings to build temporary ones. Groups like this have lived successfully for centuries, nowadays bold adventurers take it as a challenge to survive like the Isithic nomads, leading to the death of many foolish and overconfident folks. Many unique weather patterns happen over the Isithic mountain range, including scalding hot rain and updrafts so strong that can throw humans, not to mention the many small earthquakes that happen yearly causing landslides and fractures. The fluctuating weather isn’t the only reason the Isithic mountain range is hard to survive, dense forest surrounds the base of the mountains making it easy to get lost and become prey to the Isithic bone beasts. These beasts range from abnormally large spiders to mountain lions, all bone white with red eyes, nobody’s sure where they came from but they seem to live much longer lives than their normal counterparts. Very few people survive encounters with these beasts, those who have didn’t survive unscathed and all died three weeks after the encounter. Despite many efforts to retrieve the Isithic nomads from the mountain range they continue to live there, for them it is the only way to live
