Introduction to Alea

As some of you may or may not know, I've been in the process of writing a novel for the last couple of years, based around the idea of a demonic underworld and a half-human boy trying to navigate it. I decided to make this teaser Dungeons and Dragons campaign in order to introduce you to the world and its characters. I hope you enjoy and without further ado, let us begin!   Alea is the world between worlds, the undersoil to the earth, hiding away in caves and crevices along the coastlines of the world as we know it, through mystic portals that reveal an entirely new continent, the continent of Alea. Not many know of this world, only a select few, though once the continent was connected to those on the surface, but has since dissolved into the hidden world it is today.   You will encounter Demons, Fearies, Redhorks and much more while you play through this dangerous but thrilling campaign. Will you decide to start a human, who stumbled upon this world through luck (or stupidity)? or will you be a demon who lived their whole lives under the earth.
