Kernosa Pools
The Blessed Spring is a series of small spring pools found in the western foothills of Pier’s Peak in the Areian Peaks of Lhakamed, on the major continent of Ethae. The excess waters from the spring flow out through the Kernosa River into the Redhand River to the west. These springs are a rare mix of groundwaters from seasonal runoff from Pier’s Peak and the Raven Hills, and hot spring vents from the Night Below. Unlike other hot springs in the region, the waters of the Blessed Springs do not have any sulfur content, making them odorless.
Though largely forgotten today, their pleasantly warm waters have been a favorite location for past civilizations Lhakamed. Local legends claim bathing in the waters can heal any wound or illness. This once brought pilgrims from across Tinjir to the site for healing, most often during spring.
