Sea south of Ethae, Mentrador is extremely dangerous to travel due to unpredictable weather, especially the cold winds blowing up from Arkato, the southern pole. Experienced sailors never willingly stray far from the coasts. The Mentrador is the gateway between the Cota Ocean and Criup Ocean, so many still merchants still risk the travel.
