Great Fire of Lakorth
Incendium Magnum Lakorth
Beginning on the 19th day of Summer in 5064sc somewhere in the merchant quarter of the city of Lakorth. It took a week to get the fire under control. By that time nearly three quarters of the city had been damaged or destroyed by the fire. At the time, the fires uncontrollable devastation was blamed on the young Trijan faith that was growing in the city. Historians put the blame on tightly packed streets and ancient timber buildings. Much of the city was rebuilt with concrete after this event, as were the extending islands that expanded the city into Lake Roic. With the quick rebuilding after the destruction, and the new concrete city, thought to be indestructible, Lakorth gained the moniker of "the Undying City."
