The Slayer
"I do your will, Father." Message written in blood above the symbol of the SlayerThe Slayer is a god-like being that holds power over the domain of murder. It is known by many names—Naith, Dihen, Myrn, Dauth, Marnos, etc.—and recognized across Nesia as a powerful, dark spirit that opposed Creation and desires only the end of all things. Its worshippers can be found hiding in the shadows of civilization as they work to accomplish the will of their dark god. Assassins and insane killers alike whisper or cry out prayers the Slayer as they end lives in service to the Lord of Murder. Alongside the typical murderers that worship the Slayer, it has been known to bestow mortals its unholy power to create perfect killers. These spawn are possessed by dark urges to kill, kill, and kill again and gifted with unnatural strength with which to do it; the greatest of these being the ability to shift into the form of a monster with thick hide and powerful claws. It is unknown how exactly the Slayer does this, whether it sires them as a direct parent or they are incarnations similar to the avatars of the Edhanic and Rissani faiths, but its spawn exclusively refer to the Slayer as "Father" despite it never seeming to favor one form of address or another.
