Yagura
The City of Yagura is the capital city of its region and the first stop for ships as after they pass the Swamp of Bone. Yagura is a Japanese styled town run by the Daimyo Kazuo Wakatsuki. The River Hamon flows directly into the City of Yagura in its final waterfall before it flows into the nearby Hondoru (“handle”) bay. The bay and the city are surrounded by steep rocky walls on all sides. Yagura itself blends in with its surrounding environment and has no discernable boundaries other than the natural boundaries though the heart of the city is focused around the base of the waterfall.
The river Hamon (刃文 hamon) takes its name from the color similarities the river takes to the forging of a blade – the river is at once split into two distinct colors, one a clear blue where the river seems to travel the fastest and is the deepest part of the channel, the other a rich green formed by a clinging algae that pushes from the western shore but is cleared away by the faster moving water on the eastern side. The current of the river is strong and direct cutting through the rocky highlands from the Kron Hills dropping through several cataracts. The river itself flows through the City of Yagura.
