The Grand Artisan's Writ of Patronage, is a document that allows those who have it, becuase they are on a mission on behalf of the Grand Artisan. The document allows the user to get meals and accommdation for free, have authority over a situation, along with proof that the person or people that they are not lying about being on a mission on behalf of the Grand Artisan.   The costs incurred on the mission are paid back by the Artistocracy's funds.

Purpose

The purpose of the document is to allow someone to go on a mission on the behalf of the Grand Artisan.

Public Reaction

The public have two differing reactions depending on what the context is. If the person is an innkeeper or in some way a shopkeeper,they will react with fustration but will give in. Those others will often react positively with Town Guards acting as a matter of duty.
