Defeni
Defeni, pronounced De-FEE-knee, are the main currency in Willinghurst Cray. Which uses the metals copper, silver and gold. The Copper is called Horns, Silver is Tusks and Gold is Antlers. They are called this as the heads side of the coin has an animal with those; Copper has a Bison (facing out), Silver has Walrus (facing out) and Antlers has a deer (facing right). The tails side is based on tools on each coin it is, Copper is 1 kg hammer, Silver is Blacksmith's Tongs and Gold is a Blacksmith's Anvil.
Defeni, is based like the common D&D currency, meaning 10 Horns = 1 Tusk, 10 Tusks = 1 Antler.
History
The reason for the choices of the animal heads are based on the The Myth Of The Tigers in which when the tigers were starting to die out, the deer population started to bloom. This was regarded in the highest asteem. Silver is a walrus because of the materials that the animal gives, lastly the bison only gives milk, meat, fur and horn and is regarded less than the others.
When the Tigers started to die out and the deer started to bloom the former gold coins were regarded as old and not usual able but an exchange was granted. At the present day it is highly unlikely to come across one of the original gold coins.
