Karlmann Stormglass
Karlmann "Karl" Stormglass is the eldest daughter of Maugris. She works as an interrogator in the Llysdon Palace courts, and is a member of The Guilds of Quicksilver. She is not considered a member of the royal family, but gets on well enough to stay out of trouble due to her skills with interrogation and networking.
Karl is the sibling that Rianu is closest to, and they get along well, but Rianu often remarks that deep down she is scared of Karlmann and what she might be capable of. Fortunately for Rianu, Karl has a soft spot for her due to their traumatic upbringing, but little sympathy for anyone else. While she is affable and lassiez-faire, she is also very calculated.
Karlmann acts as a donor to Rianu Damoizel during Witch of the North. The sisters are united by their affection for Armelle, who is disguised as a traveling Clockmaker and has a brief tryst with Karl during her stay in the palace.
