Maidens hair fungus
This fungus is used to create the clothes of common dwarves. It grows readily underground, and is easily distinguished by its long, flowing threads that extend in all directions from the main body. These threads are used by the fungus to capture small insects, and to spread the fungus itself. They are extremely tough, but grow slowly, only around 24 cm/year.
