In the basement of Bridgeport's Opera House, one relic is kept locked in the archives: a papier-mâché mask used in the final production of a not to be named play that made the audience flee in horror. Anyone who wears it finds themselves moving through forgotten lines, voices, and pains not their own. The mask seems to preserve emotional residue; every humiliation, every torment endured on that stage, every anger about wrong steps and forgotten words.
