The Exalted Matriarch and Supreme Patriarch of Dal-Alon
Dal-Alon was founded by the Wind Family prior to the Great Rending. A mixed heritage family of elf and human lead by their Matriarch Elasha the family made a home within the Initan forests and constructed a sprawling estate that soon grew into a village and then a town and finally a grand city. All the while the family of Thùl provided for the people and kept them safe from dangers. As structure came to the burgeoning kingdom of mostly Half-elves the Thùl family was regarded as royalty, eventually this royal deference became royalty indeed. As a royal Family was now present a royal succession was needed, Alric Wind the family patriarch along with his two sons had long been dead by the time of the kingdom's emergence and it was Elasha who was the ruling focus. But even her long life was not endless and she knew her family would need to be shown a path. Her sons had only produced daughters so the path of succession would be from mother to daughter. Her granddaughters were named Heir and should she pass from the world the eldest would become queen. It wasn't her granddaughters or great granddaughter who took the throne however as she lived another 300 years. By the time she did pass away Dal-Alon had been ruled by a matriarch for 15 Half-Elf generations. Fatefully the Great Rending struck which claimed the life of many residents of Dal-Alon including the Matriarch. The people were leaderless and needed some driving force if the kingdom was to endure. The reconstruction was taken over by Elasha's Great Great Great Granddaughter, thought by most to be the greatest of Matriarchs in the history of Dal-Alon, Vamira Thùl III. The Epithet "Exalted" was added in deference to her. Her actions solidified the Thùl family as the divinely selected royal line, the Thùl family continued as unbroken stewards of the throne until 272RW when no female heir was in direct line of succession due to Arabella Thùl becoming barren after the birth of her son, Guiford. Unwilling to pass the crown to a male heir after generations of female rule Arabela instead passed the crown to her younger sister, Nuala. Nuiala would be the last Exhalted Matriarch of Dal-Alon. Upon her death she broke with tradition and she passed the crown to her young son, Ilonik, for unknown reasons. Ilonik became the Supreme Patriarch of Dal-Alon.
