Ronan is a blood hunter who believes he is a paladin who is a part of the Brotherhood of Helm. This brotherhood is made up of blood hunters who defied the ancient rules of the Order of the Lycan and were cast out. They then brainwash people into undergoing the blood hunter ritual and making them believe that blood sacrifices are required become a paladin and servant of Helm the god of protection. Ronan only knows of one meeting place for the brotherhood in a city named Hartrime.
Ronan believes that his blood curses are mere spells gifted from helm through blood sacrifices. Ronan sees himself as a paladin covered in shining radiant light and is blind to his true appearance, one that was heavily affected by the ritual. It gave him one blood red eye and one black eye, all of his hair fell out along with scars all over his head and face.
He was bestowed on him a quest to travel towns and villages to recruit warriors into the brotherhood and found the adventurers guild to be the place to find true protectors as he calls himself. As well, it allowed him to find and rid the world of as many criminals and undead as he could.
