Sudosa Woods

The Sudosa Woods were recently claimed by the Goblin Warband Sleel and their Queen within the last half century. The hope of Queen Sleel was to take the worn paths of trade that would head towards the coast and create a road between the coast and the southern corner of Akoon. After her passing during the Civil War, her son ascended to being King.

  The Woods are home to mostly temperate forest creatures. There is the Deep Brook running through it from the nearby Recluse's Mountain that provides sustainability for flora and fauna there along with weekly rainfall. To the north of it, there is the Thin Grasslands and the east is the Wilted Woods. Both areas act more so as empty spaces that travelers, troublemakers, and traders may pass through.

  The longest construction done in the area in recent history was the establishment of multiple fields for sports at the edge of the woods towards the Thin Grasslands. The various fields are able to be used for a variety of sports or games.

  The woods are home to very hearty trees that are a great source of hardwood needs for much of Grova and other settlements. Besides this, there are various herbs and roots that grow from around the rich mineral laden river which have been dried and used for making potent teas, potions, medicines, brews, and alchemical ingredients. The Goblins grow foods and some livestock in addition to the trade materials. 

  The goblins that settled there around 40 years ago have found a small cave network connected to some ruins that provided an early infrastructure for setting up their homes. The ruins seem to be a hewn stone set up with strong beams of the Sudosa Trees providing framing.
