Rank Emblems
The currency of the world is a mixture of various metal coins. These work great especially for the larger and vibrant city-states such as Aku & Grova. However, for those who need the metal of the coins for protections or for those frequently travelling; the Protection of the Strong offers its members a rank emblem. Each of the emblems will take coin values and teleport it to the nearest guild coffers. While the coin is transferred, the emblem itself is given a value measured in coins to the current financial value stored in all guild coffers owned by the individual. The material the emblem is made of is to reflect the experience of the adventurer and not their monetary value.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
These emblems are small metal plates with the name of the specific adventurer and some small amounts of divinition, enchantment, and transmutatin magic to them. The specific magic circuits have been around long enough for most arcane users to understand how they work. The more ambiguous aspect of the emblems are the security measures used to prevent manipulation and theft of these from the intended owner wielder of each emblem.
History
The Rank Emblem started centuries ago as a tool used to assist in auctions of slaves. The emblem then would be used to denote physical attributes as well as rating the aggressivenes of the wearer. After a number of slave owners were apprehended, the collars found themselves into the domain of the guild and its tinkerers on loan from the Moonlight Ravens. Together they surmised a path to repurposing the emblems for a beneficial goal rather than an opprossive one.
Significance
The item was originally designed as a tool for oppression and forced control of the powerless by the power corrupted. After the initial stockpile of emblems was converted from purposes of slavery towards purposes of helping adventurers, the items became incredibly trendy. As they were used for some time, older emblems may be mistaken as the signs of a slaver.
