Burang

Burang is the southern most City-State of Akun. It boasts an average size of territory with an awesome amount of personality between its art, people, and buildings. What it lacks for uniformality it gladly trades for some of the most non-existent laws of the country. If you couldn't find something from the underbelly of Belu, the dead end streets of Aku, or the contraband collection of Nebuchadnezzar; you'll find it in spades on street corners of Burang.

Geography

The area around Burang is somewhat diverse allowing for various flora to prosper & grow to later be used as rich dye. The port of the south of Burang is large enough for large ships to enter but small enough to feel elite.
The Land immediately to the west is somewhat mountainous while the land to the north is a low grassland slowly turning to forest. The land to the east is arid but turns to bad lands if one were to stray too far south.

Natural Resources

While most of the wealth of Burang comes from its textiles, arts, and service industries; there is a modest amount of interest from its ore deposits in its nearby Freriph Mountain.

Tourism

The largest attractions for visiting Burang are some of the following:

Night Life, the performers' guild keeps its headquarters, a giant night club on the main road just a block from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The parties there seem to never end and the waves of people ebbing and flowing through it are amazing. Every season a new theme is unveiled as the buildings exterior shape and color shifts with a mix of illusion and enchantment magics.
The Burang Metroplitan Museum of Art houses some of the most avant-garde pieces withini the whole country. It is not uncommon for unknown artists to quickly become the talk of the town when their pieces are first unveiled.
The Burang Great Library sits modestly beside the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It's exterior a mix of various stone slabs cut and set to create an unmoving pattern to calm your eyes in the city of color. Inside, the Library both ascends & descends many stories, holding a drowning number of books, leaflets, novellas, papers, and other media.
