Humans of Akronis

On Akronis, there are many magical races hailing from all sorts of different backgrounds. But what spawns most of the magical, planetouched races? What could be the origin of such wild adaptation? Enter the human, simultaneously the most and least mundane race on the surface of the Prime Material. Humans are the source of the majority of the world's population, and the source of the Blessed Imperium. With no innate ties to any particular force, humans can adapt to basically any situation with higher effectiveness than any other race.   In addition, they also harbor a force that other races have nicknamed "The Indomitable Human Spirit," though really it's just incredible dedication and determination. Humans rarely back down from a challenge, and even rarer do you find one giving up a challenge they've taken on. They have incredible confidence in themselves, a confidence and determination that outshines any other race. Some have even told stories of humans pushing their indomitable spirit to the absolute limit, surviving blows that would be fatal to any other race and persisting beyond what should have been certain death.

Human Features

Age. Humans reach adulthood in their late teens and live less than a century.   Size. Humans vary widely in height and build, from barely 5 feet to well over 6 feet tall. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium.   Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.   Ability Score Increase. Two different ability scores of your choice increase by 1.   Skill Versatility. You gain proficiency in one skill of your choice.   Feat. You gain one Feat of your choice.   Push your Limits. When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest.   Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one extra language of your choice.
