Heavy cloths, furs, and fine silks, they love their fabrics, plenty of religious iconography, sometimes armour. Plenty of cloaks and fancy dresses. Male attire isn't as nice. Predictably.Religion
Ixarra's Hallowed Nation, or IHN/Ixarra for short, is a theocracy built up on the worship of Ixarra, the goddess of light. It is typical of Ixarrites to hold their goddess up as the prime example of how to exist in both body and mind, and, as such, many Ixarrites preach morality, community, and yearn to spread Ixarra's light to the darkest reaches of Aika. Ixarra's light has a darker side, though: misandry is a prominent issue in IHN, with typically masculine behaviours often being looked down upon as unholy, and with men not being allowed to hold high-ranking government positions. ixarrites tend to be nice to other people like that, it's how they're raised, it's what ixarra teachesQ: Regarding the clocks thing... How does it work with travellers? Are they allowed to keep their clocks but like leave it in storage on the ship or would the crew be arrested for smuggling?
A: they're outlawed, they're a religious symbol for them Q: But like what's the punishment like? Confiscation and a fine or like 2 months prison or even death?
A: depends on the clock(s) and who catches you, i suppose if you're smuggling in a shipment of clocks, then yeah, they'd probably kill you but being caught with a watch would mean short term imprisonment and maybe a fine (ixarran prison involves a lot of being preached to)
