Dabasaita

An ancient bastion fort located in central Vridasa, Dabasaita has been swirling with rumors for well over a century. Long since abandoned, it was and still is considered one of the most impenetrable structures in the world. Once populated by a powerful clan known as the Malinnet, the inhabitants simply vanished one day. Some scholars theorize that the Malinnet voluntarily left or fled the fort and integrated into surrounding communities, while others suspect they may have been overtaken by a fast-acting disease or infection. Many believe it is unlikely that anyone will ever truly know what happened to the Malinnet as no one has been able to enter Dabasaita. Or, if anyone has, they've never returned to tell their tale.   The star fort itself is carved into a mountainside. The only means of entering are through or over the front gate, or climbing over to the edge of the unstable overhang of the carved out mountain, rock climb approximately 50 feet, all completely horizontal, in total darkness, and finally rappel 100 down to the top of the bastion walls. Climbing the walls is no easy feat, either. Expert craftsmanship allowed them to be almost perfectly smooth, with the upper lips curving outwards, making the 50 foot ascent impossible by normal means.
