Arahkne Sorority

to cultivate safe spaces and networking and professional development opportunities for all women on campus. As a Quandrix sorority, they do typically focus on STEM-related topics, but have annual job fairs which are jointly hosted with organizations from other colleges to span a broad number of fields.
Housing
Members of the Arahkne Sorority live in a row of beautiful pastel row houses on Quandrix's campus, tucked between the Cultivarium and Torus Hall, each connected by small, levitating bridges and walkways, and doors which would seem to lead outside the building, but are in fact connected to other parts of the complex.Etymology
The sorority's name was proposed by one of the founding members, Talasi Sahmea. It originated from a piece of Vriddasan folklore describing a spirit or goddess known as Grandmother Spider who was said to come when a person most needed it to provide helpful advice and set them on the right path. The sorority was named Arahkne in her honor, hoping to be a similarly positive figure for all women on campus, regardless of college.
