Created and fostered by

Minotaurs and Identity
A strong, conservative element retains mostly biological pronouns, despite the limited dimorphism of the species – female minotaurs have neither prominent udders nor breasts, and all adult minotaurs have horns – but while some mobs have a patriarchal bias and others are matriarchal, most are moving towards a more egalitarian model, not least as members of mobs at both extremes intermarry and unite their dynasties. Modern titles, such as Lord of Thunder, are used universally, regardless of gender.
Due to the support of other races, minotaur culture is still organised on the same model that it has used since it transitioned from band to chiefdom organisation. Children are still the most important form of legacy, and consequently there is a strong emphasis on family and breeding. There are broadly three minotaur genders, bull, cow and mart, signifying breeding male and female minotaurs, and a minotaur of either sex who is unable or who chooses not to participate in breeding. Some minotaurs are biologically intersex, and while mostly martae, some take part in breeding and identify as bull or cow.
