Garen Brandurr
Garen Brandurr is best known for being the lead explorer responsible for founding Garen's Crossing in Luxury, 402. He and a group of 29 men left Kahladune in Eternity, 402 looking for land suitable for a new settlement. Garen was the grandson of Garvolin Brandurr, then king of Dag Brandurr.
Upon founding the town, Garen took it upon himself to establish the written law and economic systems of his namesake settlement. He is responsible for Garen's Decree and the founding of the Auction House.
Garen's Decree had the following information:
- He who has the most wealth shall be the Representative for Garen's Crossing
- Trade shall be limited to the confines of the Auction House.
- Traveling merchants are permitted to sell their goods to the townsfolk.
- Townsfolk may buy goods from traveling merchants
- Townsfolk may only trade using the Auction House
- Outsiders may purchase from the Auction House and may sell items on it with a consignment fee set by the current Representative.
