Brylingshire Manor

Brylingshire Manor was gifted to Lord Daev Brylington in Gifts 1326 as a way to commend over 30 years of military service for the Kahladun Royal Army.

Purpose / Function

The Keep of Temswell was built in 807 to serve as a point of military expansion for Temswell. The town wished to expand south into the territories closer to Fortis-Gale. This was seen with the expansion to the Harbor of Temswell. Historians suggest that the next step was to take Harsney. This would have been a huge play as the Tinker's Guild was Temswell's largest competition in regards to technological and magical advancements. After the fall of Temswell in 822 and the subsequent exodus of the population to The Harbor of Temswell, this keep was abandoned.    From 822 until the early 1000's the keep was used as a hideout for bandits and crime syndicates. The Khaladun Royal Army was recruited to reclaim the keep in 1012 and in Ire of 1013 the keep was claimed for Khaladun.   In Gifts 1326 the keep was gifted to renowned Khaladun Royal Army veteran Lord (Baron) Daev Brylington as a gift for his years of service. In the decade since being gifted the keep, Lord Brylington has dedicated the land to build an expedition force that is willing to travel to The Catacombs of Temswell.

Architecture

This keep is on a small plot of land surrounded by walls on all sides. Inside the walls are a small township and a large manor that is surrounded by an additional set of walls.
