Avery Montal is the youngest daughter of Devin and Percinda Montal and the owner/operator of the tavern in Forwold.
The Montal family are cousins of the first line of Kings, the Mondatall line. Because of this, the Montal family has quite a bit of wealth. Avery, being the youngest of 4 daughters, decided to set off on her own to try and make a name for herself. So far, she has done excellently. Her tavern is considered the best this side of the Silver Bluffs.
