Dwarves
Dwarves (or Neyre as they name themselves) Are a race of small humanoids with large amounts of fat and a shrewd eye for commerce. Their origins can be traced back to the lands of Kangolar, far south of Aimane. A number of Dwarves migrated east over the straits of Nannu to Aimane in the second passing, where they settled along the coast of Aimane. The Dwarves who reached furthest north found no room for independent cities within the realms of the nine kingdoms, and thus they founded a new state on the fringes of the Wastes of Mirvania, Goldarihr. Straddling the eastern slopes of the Hinilli mountains, the Dwarves have proven skillful at breathing new life into the deadlands as an alternative realm to the harsh Hinilli highlands, and from the ashes a land of rivers cropfields and green hills bloomed up under the vigilant protection of the Dwarves. Neyre in Aimane, unlike their Kangolari kinsmen, have a migratory history and thus are well-known for making do with lacking resources and local opposition by human populations. It brought them closer together, and Dwarves have strong unitary ideals; A Dwarf does not pick a fight with a Dwarf. Their travel spirit has given them commercial opportunities, and throughout the continent Dwarves are organized in trade organisations with a strong presence in all the nine kingdoms. While generally disliked by humans for their strange customs, the Dwarves have avoided suffering the same fate as the Aerin by showing themselves as reliable partners in trade as well as warfare.

Culture
Culture and cultural heritage
To Dwarves, water plays a central role in their culture. Kangolar is a shattered land consisting of many islands, therefore seafaring was an important aspect to them. And the Dwarves believe that Kangolar was creatred by Gilmithiën herself, and Gilmithiën is the water lady Namłu to them. Now, despite being a kingdom with no coastline, Goldarihr holds water to take a central role in their kingdom. The rivers are greatly nurtured and celebrated, and the waterfalls of the Hinilli are often shrines to Gilmithiën. Many naval symbols and phrases are inherited from the Kangolari.
Shared customary codes and values
To the Dwarves of Aimane, a shared brotherhood among Dwarves is held in the highest honor. Arguments among themselves are rare and considered very undesirable; looking for quarrel with another Dwarf is frowned upon. The Dwarves believe dexterity, enlightened thinking, resourcefulness and ingenuity to be the greatest qualities an individual can have. Unlike within humans, humility is considered an excuse for laziness. Every Dwarf is expected to pull their weight in their community, and they have little respect for those who they believe are a waste of food and time. This extends to many cultural practices such as poetry, painting, music and other assorted practices of little practical value. To the Dwarf, the greatest beauty can be found in the fruits of one's labour.
The Dwarven society is highly competitive, and most dwarves are raised with amibitious values; they strive to make a fortune somewhere in the continent, or hope to found a community in the Mirvanian colonies. "By any means necessary" is a motto they live by to achieve their goals; wherever a pair of hands is needed, a Dwarf may show up to do the work, and they will be glad for it.

Art & Architecture
An untrained eye may look at the Dwarven arts and see only barbarous practices or no arts at all; this is a misconception, for the Dwarves have a different view on the nature of art.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
To Dwarves, the Neyre that is the fattest and has the most hair is most blessed by Gilmithiën. Those two features are most sought after by any dwarf. The greatest shame for a dwarf is to lose weight or to have their hair trimmed or shaven.
