Nature Elf

Elves maintain a standard humanoid appearance with two arms and legs, a head, and a torso. The only physical trait that would set them apart would be their elongated ears, nature elves have a little shorter and a little broader than other elves. Their etheral beauty and some slight colouring varaitions are more common among subgroups.

Although elves can be seen in any society willing to accept them, they feel most at home around green, warm nature such as forests and meadows. Here they will treat nature as its own sentient entity, granting it respect and reverence. With the rise of technology and pollution in areas like Iron Oak and they tend to stay to the main lands of Fealands and the capital Neuvoterre

Elves as a whole tend to be vegan or atleast vegatarian with use of dairy and honey being seen by many as a luxury and only consumed when it is from a reliable well cared for source. Some Night elves and half elves are pescatarians but tend to only eat fish they have themselves caught. Food is not really stored it is usually harvested used and consumed in a constant cycle. Similar to halflings they do enjoy turning fresh produce into jams, chutneys and pickles so things do not go off or get wasted. Elven wine is also a use of left over fresh produce. It is a tasty, fruity beverage that, while containing alcohol, is meant more for enjoyment of the drink and not simply intoxication. They strongly believe in recycling and not letting anything go to waste so they do encourage composting in everyones own homes and will offer to compost and recycle for any neighbours who are unable to.

Very kind, caring and nature loving folk. Seen as the hippies and tree huggers of the world. Often miscontrued as dumb or ditsy people as they are not usually particularly book smart but when it comes to any knowledge of animals or plants and they will instantly know more off the top of their head than any trained wizard does about arcana.   They do tend to take a laissez-faire approach to life and take their time getting things done. It is rare to see a busy nature elf. They also believe in the motto's of "what will be will be" and "to each their own" as they do not interfere with the lives of others and show no hate to others.   It is for this reason some believe it was the nature elves who moved north with the orcs.

Compared to other elves their ears do tend to be a little larger and longer to be able to hear better in the forests and jungles.

Elves are rather intelligent, having a much longer lifespan to better hail knowledge from their experiences. This manifests not only in their designs and architecture, but their clear propensity towards the arcane. While some nature elves take to natural arcane skills like druids or rangers they still prefer to spend their time in nature and with animals and being generally more athletic in their pursits.

Although beauty is truly subjective and some may dislike the grace and elegance of an elf, their beauty and eternal youth is a fasciate that is difficult to deny or avoid. Nature elves on the whole are the most unkept of all elves. However this is less about beauty and more about living out in nature and prioritising other things than beauty. However given the right moment they do enjoy being more presentable just like any other elf.

In part due to their long lives and also their kindred spirit with nature, they are quite comfortable with their bodies and will wear clothes to accentuate their form, from tight leathers made to not restrict their bounding leaps, to high fashion dresses meant for socialites. Nature elves like to keep clothing to be appropriate for the environment they are in whether that is hardy leathers for hunting, sheep skin cloaks for cold weathers or flowing simple ball gowns for fancy affairs.

Elves are known to have a great distaste for orcs, goblins and their allies, often viewing them as brutish, lacking culture, and generally agents of destruction. To the point they are accused for the banishment of these races to the expanse. Elves have no ill will in general towards dwarves often seeing them as hard workers but nothing of note more than that. Rare individuals can even find dwarves inferior due to their short stature and inability to run for long distances. Humans and Elves have had a turbulent history. Elves find humans to be quick to overreact to things and lacking skills in true negotiation and respect for nature. Their current love and progression of technology is a concern for the Elves due to pollution and deforestry concerns.   Out of all the elves Nature elves are the fastest to blow up over what may be seen as minor disagreements so they are often the ones that get involved with arguments with the likes of Humans.
