The Fluxon

The Fluxon are physically impressive humanoids made up of magically enchanted materials. The "skin" of The Fluxon is made of some form of metal usually tin or chrome but sometimes copper or brass. Some have been known to be made from some stone elements. They then have more flexible/musculature elements made from a rubberised or leather type materials.   All Fluxon are given life by a green gem placed either in the head or torso of the machine. These gems are only found in one place in Mir Buldahr and can only be used to give sentience to The Fluxon machines. When this crystal starts to burn out The Fluxon are coming to the end of their life and start to get visions of a life they have not lived, usually along the lines of flying through colourful clouds or transporting some very precious goods. This time is known as the flux.

Since The Fluxon are created in a state of physical maturity, many exhibit a childlike perspective that was often mistaken as naïve or emotionally crippled; this was not necessarily true. Some Fluxon, in fact, develop a particularly sophisticated view of the world, ever curious about its mysteries.

While The Fluxon are a sentient race they do not all have the same level of sentience, while some have desires and interests in subjects and some even feel an intense need for independence. However on the whole The Fluxon want to serve and nothing more, so whatever activity they are assigned to is their entire existence and they have no need for anything else.   The Fluxon as a whole have a strong work ethic and share an aversion to failure. The Fluxon are capable of fear, often of termination, as much as other races and can come to hate the sources of these fears just as easily. The Fluxon are also capable of loyalty and joy, particularly in relation to friends and allies and can be driven to anger when their loves or goals are threatened. However, The Fluxon as a whole exhibit a simple-minded and reserved approach to life with straightforward goals and reactionary passions.

Similar to human surnames they tend to use names for the job/skill they have but only have the one name.

The Fluxon are a sexless race, though some do adopt a gender but they are incapable of reproduction. However if their body is destroyed by the head crystal is still operational then they can be removed and added to another form, this means their memory will be wiped but they will still feel an attachment to things in their prior life similar to a child having similar interests to their parent.
