Fae Elf

Hair appears like plants. A combination of vines, ferns and in the spring and summer especially can be flowers. Some may even grow mushrooms and flowers from other body parts as decoration. A winter eladirn may grow hair that resembles branches or even frozen solid plants.

Although elves can be seen in any society willing to accept them, they feel most at home around green, warm nature such as forests and meadows. Here they will treat nature as its own sentient entity, granting it respect and reverence. With the rise of technology and pollution in areas like Iron Oak and they tend to stay to the main lands of Fealands and the capital Neuvoterre   They like to be surrounded by as much nature as possible. Therefore even in the city space their homes will be covered inside and out by as many plants as they can grow.

Elves as a whole tend to be vegan or atleast vegatarian with use of dairy and honey being seen by many as a luxury and only consumed when it is from a reliable well cared for source. Food is not really stored it is usually harvested used and consumed in a constant cycle. Similar to halflings they do enjoy turning fresh produce into jams, chutneys and pickles so things do not go off or get wasted. Elven wine is also a use of left over fresh produce. It is a tasty, fruity beverage that, while containing alcohol, is meant more for enjoyment of the drink and not simply intoxication. They strongly believe in recycling and not letting anything go to waste so they do encourage composting in everyones own homes and will offer to compost and recycle for any neighbours who are unable to.

As the seasons change so do they. However just because it is the middle of summer does not mean you will not see any winter eladrin. As some eladrin choose to remain specifically in one form while others may be emotionally triggered to change with the seasons reflecting the following emotions: Spring = Joy Summer = Anger Autumn = Fear Winter = Sadness   However this also is not set in stone as depending on their personality they could find joy in autumn because of the love of grunchy fallen leaves and the smell of rain and sadness in summer due to sweating and the high tempratures.

Fae elves tend to be very intune with nature and their changing seasons. However due to this they are also very intune with their emotions and the emotions of others. This makes them very quick to react to things and experience things in a very strong way.   Regardless of their mood and season they showcase they are almost always joyous, passionate and confident creatures. Like many Fae creatures, and why they are named from the Fae creatrures, they enjoy and enthusiastically participate in tricks, jokes and any type of game.

Only can be found in the city of Neuvoterre or in the woodlands around it. Winter eladrin are rarely seen but usually found in the mountains north of the city.

Elves are rather intelligent, having a much longer lifespan to better hail knowledge from their experiences. This manifests not only in their designs and architecture, but their clear propensity towards magic. Although for Fae elves it is less about intelligence and more for fun and ease of use such as helping plants grow better or enjoying a conversation with a squirrel.

First names do tend to be floral and nature based names. Surnames are very musical and magical sounding names. (use elf name genorators)

Although beauty is truly subjective and some may dislike the grace and elegance of an elf, their beauty and eternal youth is a fasciate that is difficult to deny or avoid. While elves on the whole are not vein creatures, many Fae elves put this to the test. They enjoy social activities that involve dressing up, styling hair and other beauty activities.

In part due to their long lives and also their kindred spirit with nature, they are quite comfortable with their bodies and will wear clothes to accentuate their form, from tight leathers made to not restrict their bounding leaps, to high fashion dresses meant for socialites. Fae elves take the comfort in their bodies to the extreme wearing as little clothing as they need to and enjoying trying new and different options all the time.

One of the original species created on this planet. They were made from the woodlands and earth making them predispositioned to have a close affiliation with nature. Then with the power granted to them by the angels they created the animals of the land and the creatures known as the Fey. These were all created to mirror the elves love of nature and desire for balance and order in the world.

Elves are known to have a great distaste for orcs, goblins and their allies, often viewing them as brutish, lacking culture, and generally agents of destruction. To the point they are accused for the banishment of these races to the expanse. Elves have no ill will in general towards dwarves often seeing them as hard workers but nothing of note more than that. Rare individuals can even find dwarves inferior due to their short stature and inability to run for long distances. Humans and Elves have had a turbulent history. Elves find humans to be quick to overreact to things and lacking skills in true negotiation and respect for nature. Their current love and progression of technology is a concern for the Elves due to pollution and deforestry concerns.
