Night Elves

Although elves can be seen in any society willing to accept them, they feel most at home around green, warm nature such as forests and meadows. Here they will treat nature as its own sentient entity, granting it respect and reverence. With the rise of technology and pollution in areas like Iron Oak and they tend to stay to the main lands of Fealands and the capital Neuvoterre

Elves as a whole tend to be vegan or atleast vegatarian with use of dairy and honey being seen by many as a luxury and only consumed when it is from a reliable well cared for source. Some Night elves and half elves are pescatarians but tend to only eat fish they have themselves caught. Food is not really stored it is usually harvested used and consumed in a constant cycle. Similar to halflings they do enjoy turning fresh produce into jams, chutneys and pickles so things do not go off or get wasted. Elven wine is also a use of left over fresh produce. It is a tasty, fruity beverage that, while containing alcohol, is meant more for enjoyment of the drink and not simply intoxication. They strongly believe in recycling and not letting anything go to waste so they do encourage composting in everyones own homes and will offer to compost and recycle for any neighbours who are unable to.

They tend to be a lot more reserved and tend to live in darker spaces. Many tend to walk with a bit of a slouch in an effort to appear shorter and hide in crowds more easily. They are very polite and follow the rules but sometimes to their own detriment. The reason they tend to mature earlier than other elves is because they are more studious and less naive.   It is often believe due to appearance the elves that moved north with the orcs was these but their reserved nature makes it not in their nature to do that but also could be caused from the trauma of what happened after.

Elves are rather intelligent, having a much longer lifespan to better hail knowledge from their experiences. This manifests not only in their designs and architecture, but their clear propensity towards the arcane. Never more so than with Night Elves who much prefer being solitary in a dark spot reading a book. Therefore as they enjoy learning they often stumble into some form of arcane use.

Although beauty is truly subjective and some may dislike the grace and elegance of an elf, their beauty and eternal youth is a fasciate that is difficult to deny or avoid. Night elves really aren't at all vain and tend to keep their hair in simple styles that require minimal effort. They are also not ashamed of any scars or birthmarks as they dont see the point in wasting time in being concerned with appearance.

One of the original species created on this planet. They were made from the woodlands and earth making them predispositioned to have a close affiliation with nature. Then with the power granted to them by the angels they created the animals of the land and the creatures known as the Feakin. These were all created to mirror the elves love of nature and desire for balance and order in the world.

Elves are known to have a great distaste for orcs, goblins and their allies, often viewing them as brutish, lacking culture, and generally agents of destruction. To the point they are accused for the banishment of these races to the expanse. Elves have no ill will in general towards dwarves often seeing them as hard workers but nothing of note more than that. Rare individuals can even find dwarves inferior due to their short stature and inability to run for long distances. Humans and Elves have had a turbulent history. Elves find humans to be quick to overreact to things and lacking skills in true negotiation and respect for nature. Their current love and progression of technology is a concern for the Elves due to pollution and deforestry concerns.   Hoever Night Elves try to avoid any interactions with Humans due to the liklihood to jump to drama and prmoblems.
