The Glowing Beasts

Aetherius Dragons are winged beasts that are powered by the Jewels, their hearts are made up of the Aetherius Jewel and emit a powerful magic, strong enough to destroy entire worlds. For most of history, the dragons have been sleeping in Dragon Valley, it is foretold that the day they awake, is the apocalypse and the end of the world. The Dragons are covered in thick scales, strong enough to deflect any weapon. It is said that the only way to kill a dragon, is to remove the Jewel from their body.
