The Raven Queen, the Matron of Death, an ancient goddess of death. Old and mysterious, as her true name has been lost. Her patrons seek her favour to guide them in death and prevent the curse of undeath from falling on them.
Due to her hatred of undeath, she and the Demon Lord of the Undead Orcus are fierce enemies.

Worshippers
Those that pay her homage also pay their respect to the dead. Her and Null's domains intertwine and conflict, whereas he is the embodiment of death, she is the moment of death, and the taking of souls.
Temples and Shrines
Her temples are large structures, with great looming doors of dark glass. It is made of black, solid and opaque materials - views from their windows are warped and translucent. Low-lit interiors, with dark coal-black exteriors but deep-grey and ivory ice-like interiors. The most sacred chamber being the communion pools.

She makes her home in the Fortress of Imagination in the Shadowfell.

The Raven Queen is described as a tall and slender woman, with flowing black hair and pale, porcelain skin. She always wears a blank, porcelain mask. On the rare occasions she removes it, she is described as a beautiful woman with red irises.
