The Perimidines of Central Lorthal

The Perimidines of Central Lorthal

The vast and greatest mountain range within the world, a great highland of billowing winds, clouds and mist - with a cold blanket scape that stretches across like a strange star... seemingly the land had been actively risen up, or seemingly buried underneath the back of some great behemoth-like beast. A kingdom seemingly built upon the back of something enormous and large. Hence, the mountains here are known as the "Sleeping Giants". A mixture of wintery white peaks and carven stone, limestone, and gray-reddened ridges. Seemingly connected in great trunks, six lines of mountainous ranges that sink from the central and great mountains that form out into Dun Morough. The greatest mountains, known as Moradh, Doriah and Volem.   NORTH Heading northward, the Smoking Shelves. This region is beholden to a number of inactive and active volcanoes, though minor, and not to the same scale as the Blackrock Range. Running into the Renallie Riverlands, it's north-eastern Volksreiber Valley and springing forth the River Durein. In it's eastern face of the Smoking Shelves, lies the Magnar Valley, the River Vade. Giving way to the Straightcut Lake and the Lake Orenzo.   NORTH-WEST Heading north-westward, the Broken Neck. This region seems to be beholden to a number of beaten, broken and shattered red-brown stone mountains, the tops of the mountains seemingly shattered and forming a impassable and overgrown region of misted vegetation. Between the Broken Neck and the Humble Peaks, rests the fertile and green Headless Valley, springing forth the font of the Great River from the Mirror Lake. The vegetation is believed to have been caused by a strange phenomena. At the northernmost edge of the Broken Neck range, lies the Great Sokoyva Taiga forests. On the west-facing side of the mountains, lies the Slatecuffs Valley. This great fertile green and hilled-valley borders the Great Falls Canyon, and a series of streams referred to as the Silverflow.   WEST Heading westward, the Humble Peaks. This region seems to be beholden to peaceful and soft pillows of white snow peaks, and cloudy mists, running and birthing a few rivers in the region, with great waterfalls. On the north-facing side of the mountains, lies the Slatecuffs Valley. This great fertile green and hilled-valley borders the Great Falls Canyon, and a series of streams referred to as the Silverflow. It reaches the edge of the Great Falls Canyon on its south-eastern ridge, and the Dwingarda Coastal Plains. The southern face of the Humble Peaks, touches the smaller Ebon Valley of dark-wood forests, and a fresh glacial lake known as Lake Nudella. From the streams that feed into the lake, and escapes out into the waterfall, beginning the River Sidir.   SOUTH-WEST Heading south-westward, the Red Spears. This region seems to be beholden to red-stained stone, with jagged points and steep mountainous regions, and can break out with latent volcanic bursts in its lower regions, with bubbling hills. On the edge of the Red Spears, is the SOUTH BAY, feeding the small tributary river, River Loine. To its west face, resides the Shieldbough Valley. The valley holds the Kitan Lake.   SOUTH Heading southward, the Glennoran Tops. The clear and habitable, green highlands of this region is quite habitable and peaceful. To its west facing side, resides the prominent Bastion Dales, the largest of the Perimidine valleys, flowing with the Hammerford River and the Centurion Lake. The mountain range's southern edge, feeds in the Cape Lookout.   EAST Heading eastward, the Bladed Heights. This region seems to be beholden to sharp blade-edged mountains that scale from out of the ground, like hatchets and blades edges. In it's northern face of the Bladed Heights, lies the Magnar Valley, and the running River Vade. Giving way to Lake Orenzo. On it's southern flank, is the Bastion Dales.
