Hollahrer Heights

Unlike the east-wests lesser mountains, the high rising mountains break the cloud cover and feed into the jungles a series of rivers descending down dry and exotic hills (known as the Hollahrer Heights) that slowly become thickened by tropical treelines and swallowed by the jungle. These river-fed hills steepen upwards towards the mountains of the Red Cascades to the north, and they continue onward along the nape of this mountain range - feeding into the Dredjericho Jungle below. This pockmarked high-rise and descent have formed natural towered-rock formations that many in these regions see as watchful guardians, and blessed by the Serpents Sublime - monoliths of a sort, growing with special herbs and home to dangerous flying dinosaurs, Pterosaurs. Any loud noise seems to echo and reverberate from the stones, calling out across the regions... and sometimes, it is said that the hills shout back.
