Lumara Central Plaza
The streets are in commotion. People moving all around. Shop owners painting flyers to later hang on whatever surface they are allowed to. Merchants are already appearing from all over Arthuria just for this event. All people present in Lumara would gather for the Harvest Festival.
The plaza itself is a work of art. The stone bricks that pave the ground form various delicate floral patterns. People tend to take long walks around, just to admire the beautiful stonework done. Children would spend hours playing around the plaza, usually bothering the older people that just wanted a calm stroll. In a busy day, you could see people rushing in and out from the Lumara Library, as if it was a matter of life or death. You could also see City Council members entering or leaving the City Hall, tired of dealing with some of the more delicate political situations. All these things, however, are replaced by the commotion caused by the Festival.
On the day of the Harvest Festival, one could see the 400 feet diameter plaza filled with tents, tables, and booths, hosting the most variety of games and goods. Colored paper and ribbons fly all over the place. Eventual screams would come out of the two or three taverns around the plaza, indicating someone's victory in a arm wrestling or drinking contest. You would see children excited because they won a prize in one of the multiple game tables, or you would see other children crying because they lost the same games.
The festival itself lasts three days. On the last day, farmers would compete with their best animals or products. People and judges would go around and scoring the candidates according to their preference. The winner would take the harvest trophy home, being handed down by the last year's winner.
