Jujinal Wall (Ju-gee-nall-Wall)

Nature's Shield

C.R. Eede
Jujinal Wall
  • Name: Jujinal Wall
  • Symbolism: Protection and Safeguarding
  • Recognition: 2397 NE
  • Contribution: Jujinal Wall offers natural, robust, and almost impenetrable layers of rock-like protection, keeping the capital safe from external forces.
  • Location: C'avarnia, North, East, South, and West.
This is the rocky wall surrounding the kingdom. On the wall stands the Varcanai Guard, protecting the city and acting as an elven barrier. The wall delves deep into the mountain, ensuring its stability. There are no mystical forces to the wall, just that it was carefully carved over time to form the tips of a crown as intended by Miha Aalarelai.

Purpose / Function

Jujinal Wall's purpose is to protect everything and everyone within C'avarnia. It acts as a wall of utmost protection against external forces who may seek to harm the high elves or bring the capital to the ground.

Denizens

There are many significant beings within Jujinal Wall, which it protects. See below:
  1. The Royal Aalarelai Bloodline
  2. The Starlight Veil
  3. The High Elves
  4. The Hyphicen and Hydraen
  5. Anos and Rese and other creatures
  6. Significant Establishments.

Alterations

The only alterations made over time are the careful carvings of the tips of the wall, which is used to represent the kingdom.

Architecture

  • Jujinal Wall: Its exterior comprises anthracite and limestone. Due to the enormity of the wall, it can comfortably fit multiple large establishments within and protect them from outside forces and the harsher seasons. From an isometric and bird-eye viewpoint, the wall takes the shape of a crown, with Varcanai Palace being the centrepiece.
  • The Formal Entrance: The entrance of the capital sees a double-barricaded gate made of saer and wien. The first layer is made of a solid saer portcullis. The second layer comprises two heavy wien gate barricades, enforced by a steel mechanism to secure them.
  • Informal Entrance: The entrance used by elves who regularly use the Varcanai Palace must use the door to the left-hand side of the formal opening, between the width of Jujinal Wall. This entrance isn't fancy or grandeur. It's a black door with flat saer hexagonal doorknobs and carved branch-like patterns in the wood.

Defenses

On the outside of the wall are Varcanai Guards standing to attention, evenly spread out with their mystical staffs. When their weapons touch, an invisible barrier covers the capital.
