The Sword of Michael
Weapon
Legendary Can only be attuned by Fighters, Barbarians or Paladins. Cannot attune to Evil aligned characters. Requires Attunement
The Sword of Michael carries a number of special abilities.
Every day at dawn the user has to choose one of the following: Aberration, Construct, Undead, Fiend, Fey or Monstrosity. When done so the weapon will do an extra 4 2d4 fire damage to that creature if wielded by a fighter or barbarian. If wielded by a paladin it does 7 2d6 fire damage. It is treated as normal damage against any others.
The sword can be boosted 3 times a day causing double damage against any creature type (doubled up again if a Crit Hit is achieved), and will affect the the creature even if it is immune to slashing and fire damage against the chosen creature.. If used against a Celestial the damage is rebounded to the wielder causing the damage to them instead. This resets every dawn. If a Nat 1 is ever rolled against the specified creature the overall damage is halved instead.
The sword also treated as a +3 magic weapon.
If picked up by an Evil aligned character it will cause 14 4d6 fire damage every time it is touched.
The Sword of Michael is a mythical weapon whispered of in a few religious circles. Said to be lying in the remains of an old overgrown Christian site somewhere in Europe, it is waiting to be discovered by a champion.
It is a longsword with a silvery bladed weapon chased in gold, shimmering with a beautiful otherworldly light emanating from within. Down the blade is the name of the sword (The Sword of Michael) is wrote in Enochian script. This glows when picked up by someone who is worthy to wield it. It will change size to fit the wielder and appears surprisingly light for a weapon of it's type.
