The Knock on the Door

Late at night Magnar's, or Arne's house will be woken up, or maybe Archi's or Timble's / Keller's. 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 or 7-8 as to whose.

If the door is open is Orion & obi, the First Men husband & wife from the Cult of the Deep One, with NINE behind them. They came up from their cavern as far as NINE'S library and asked for help. The Star Spawn Seer had arrived looking as a tall gaunt woman dressed in grey robes. When they heard screaming from on down the cavern, they fled through the caverns and managed to get through to the library. They ask for asylum, and want the players to help them out.

They have to decide whether to help them or not and what to do.

A number of options exist: Hand them in and let the authorities sort it out, hide them somewhere, smuggle them out, use the thieves to smuggle them out to safety, or some combination of these.

There is a chance a few Star Spawn Grue will appear and attack those helping the couple.

Also, they can go down and investigate the cavern.

There they will find the cultists torn apart by clawed creatures with large mouths & sharp teeth. There is a good chance they will also find Grue here too cleaning up as best as they can, which isn't that much. It looks as if they are trying to make way for others to come and settle here.
