The King Must Be Defended

I believe that there is an unforeseen problem with our troops. Many have been placed or ordered to the east gate for the attack. Expecting at least some resistance to the south a large contingent has been sent to the south gate too. This has created the largest concentration in those parts.   As you can see there is nothing to the north and with fresh troops coming in by the west gate there is no problem in the latter. Just that north gate I am concerned about. Especially with the Dwarves of Clan Asgersonn withdrawing to their stronghold in that direction. All they have left behind is a small unit of their excellent stone masons. That is leaving us with a weak point, especially with the thought of having to withdraw troops from the other parts.   I don't need to tell you the importance of the King's residence, as well as the Tower and the Cathedral being vulnerable if any enemy gets through. Even a small group of the mercenaries can be used to bolster it surely. And we have that shipment of iron ingots from Clan Asgersonn, plus the charcoal from their Hill Dwarf allies due any time too, coming in through that gate.   I recommend to act swiftly in this matter before the assault happens.   Signed Count de Ath
