Sirona
Sirona is an ancient Celtic Goddess related to healing, especially involving healing springs, snakes & eggs. Found primarily in East Central Gaul and the Danube Limes. Major shrines have been built in Augst (Switzerland), Aquincum (Budapest), and Wiesbaden in Hesse. A grove at the edge of Eschbach is partly dedicated to her.
Divine Domains
Healing and healing springs, along with snakes and eggs.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
The snake & the egg are used to represent her. Both are usually shown with her and seen as holy.
Tenets of Faith
Healing and healing springs are the main principles with which Sirona is linked to. Most devotional areas will have a carving or inscription of some sort attached, as well as the odd grouping of snakes and egg or egg-like votive offering left there. Her Druids and Clerics are known to be expert healers and defenders, with a lack of aggressive actions.
A major aspect of the Faith is to heal all those that are sick, ill or injured and to avoid doing any more harm than what is absolutely necessary. The use of both medicines, medicinal kits and magical cures is what is important.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Do no harm and to aid those in need of help.
