Knud Gunhild is one of the Shield Guard that is usually picked to protect King Fell Asgersonn. He is a dutiful soldier and will defend him with his life.
He grew up in the Stronghold as one of the Clan Asgersonn, and had always had a knack for military duties. Since this aptitude showed early he was taken in by the Shield Guard, and schooled by them. He learned to read & write, Dwarvish, and Old Nord early, and later learned Saxon. During his training he showed further aptitude for defensive techniques and was seconded to the king's bodyguard as a result.
The he still serves to this day and always within reach of the king.
