History
The Leannan Sidhe are a rare branch of the Fey family. Not that well known or seen, they have a strange though dangerous way of surviving. Each are attracted to artists, whether poets, painters actors musicians or any other type. When the Leannan Sidhe (or Fey Lover as they are sometimes known as), find one suitable enough they try to attract the artist. If not rebuffed, the Leannan Sidhe then gets to feed on the mental energy of their victim, draining them to they eventually die. This in the process causes major personality changes and insanity in the victim. The victim is also given an additional boost to their skills in the arts.
If the Leannan Sidhe is rebuffed they become the slave to the artist until they are passed off to someone else. The victim can also pass the Leannan Sidhe if a suitable replacement is found. Many a victim has survived this way while damaging the reputation of a rival in the process.
