Germanic
The Germanic languages are a catch-all term for closely related languages that came to central & northern Europe centuries ago during the Indo-European migration. They share a common root language & minor changes are encountered throughout the Germanic tribes. A few loan words has drifted in over time depending on their encounters with other human tribal groups, and with their encounters with Elves & Dwarves. They use the Germanic runic writing system, and it seems to be somewhat related to Elvish & Dwarvish, and likely crossed over between the Nine Worlds of Yggdrasil.
